What is My Favorite Asian Story?

This is a community project where friends, community members, historians, and storytellers to share their favorite stories about Asian American history and why they love it.

Who runs it?

Right now it's a solo operation run by Tiên in collaboration with the generous folks who share their stories. She is a writer, journalist, and documentary filmmaker. She's also a Vietnamese refugee and so-called small town Asian raised in North Carolina. She loves a good underdog story.

What is your mission at MFAS?

My mission is to learn, celebrate, and preserve Asian American history. I'd love to create a community and educational repository for students, teachers, and anyone who wants to understand Asian American history and culture more deeply.

How can I support this project?
